Eagle’s Wing Ranch was founded in 2007 by Bob, Claudia and Jim Beauprez. The property had been in the ownership of the Chedsey family since it was homesteaded in 1882, and thus enjoys a rich and noble heritage in North Park, one of Colorado’s premium high mountain livestock ranching locations.
We continue to harvest premium grass hay as has been done for generations on the ranch. In 2008, the first seed stock animals for our buffalo herd arrived at the ranch. The herd now totals about 165 cows and is thriving on the natural grass diet just as they did for thousands of years in North Park before the first settlers arrived.
Raising buffalo has been a fascination of ours for over 20 years and Eagle’s Wing Ranch is a dream come true. Being part of reviving the buffalo population in North America and a rapidly growing new industry is most satisfying for our family.
